RFID technology tracks the entire production process of car bumpers

Using UHF RFID systems and middleware ensures complete transparency in bumper production for automotive parts suppliers. The fully automated UHF RFID solution boasts a wider sensing range and eliminates the need for cumbersome protective measures. Quality control and polishing workstations are also equipped with industrial UHF readers.

Today, customers can completely eliminate the risk of misreading in bumper production through programmable devices.        Transparent Production Process        When an unfinished bumper leaves the injection molding machine, the system immediately equips it with an RFID tag, which acts as an automated production register. This allows for bumper tracking throughout the entire production and logistics process: before painting, the reader detects the bumper's position within the guide rail and transmits the position information to the middleware, thereby tracking production quality and process sequence records; after painting, data from the entire paint shop is automatically linked to the bumper.        After the painting process is complete, the bumpers are placed in storage boxes according to product type. During this process, multiple industrial RFID readers will monitor data to ensure the correct storage of the bumper; middleware with automatic identification capabilities can not only receive signals but also use complex algorithms to check their accuracy; interference signals from nearby transport routes or other passing objects will be identified as erroneous and filtered out, allowing instructions to be issued according to pre-programmed specifications.        After final production, the painted bumper needs to be equipped with various workpiece equipment to complete the entire production process. During this process, the RFID tag can be controlled by a server, displaying the next production step and the bumper configuration, and loading the correct processing programs for welding and punching.        Thanks to RFID technology, the entire production process can be recorded from the moment materials are removed from the warehouse, providing customers with consistently high-quality automotive parts. Furthermore, when order problems arise, the information stored on the RFID tag can be used for timely tracking and retrieval.
