The difference between standard cards and irregularly shaped cards

The production of irregular-shaped cards , also known asnon-standard card production, refers to the production of cards that conform to internationally standardized dimensions, typically 85.5mm × 54mm × 0.76mm. However, due to the demand for personalized printing, which is not limited by size, many uniquely shaped cards have emerged worldwide. These are called "irregular-shaped cards," including geometric shapes such as rectangles, squares, triangles, and ovals. Some membership cards also use these ( membership irregular-shaped cards ), which are called "non-standard cards" or simply " non-standard cards ." Cards in animal or doll shapes are called "quasi-irregular-shaped cards." Relatively speaking, the production process for "quasi-irregular-shaped cards" is more difficult than that for geometric shapes.
Common irregularly shaped cards have two main uses. Firstly, they are used as name badges. Depending on the customer's requirements, the size of these badges varies greatly, ranging from as small as 20mm x 40mm (more accurately called name tags) to as large as 90mm x 130mm. Secondly, they are mainly used as access control cards, and can be made into dozens of shapes, such as key fob cards and coin cards, much like a car remote control – both modern and aesthetically pleasing.
irregularly shaped cards don't refer to a specific type of card; simply put, any card with an irregular shape can be called an irregularly shaped card. These cards can encapsulate various chips, such as IC, ID, and CPU chips, meaning they can have multiple functions.
